  Excellent beach house with a great layout that maximizes the space: 2 bedrooms & 1 bath on 1 side of the main living area, and a master bedroom and bath on the other side. The substantial welcome basket of Hawaiian fruits and treats was much appreciated. The house has excellent breezes and the windows really take advantage of that. We loved eating breakfast on the outdoor table on the porch. Lanikai has a great biking/ walking path along the road. We had no problem with parking when we wanted to drive to the farther Kailua beach.

  The house is a fine local house - nice kitchen and living room, good bedrooms, great deck. The Lanikai location is great - a bit of a long walk to the great beaches, but an easy drive.

  Master bath shower now working well resulting in very weak shower. 2/4 burners on range not working. Place in need of an update in appliances. The furniture in the living room is some of the most uncomfortable furniture I have ever sat on. Location is the bonus for this place. It was clean and for the most part as quiet as you can find in Hawaii.

  House itself is a little claustrophobic, furniture in bedrooms pretty run down. It's usable though, and great location adjacent to beach. Very loud neighbors, especially at night (complete with barking dog). Should have shopped around more, but didn't have time at the time. Enjoyed our stay, but nothing ultra-fantastic.
