  Great family reunion at Portlock Place

  We had a wonder time at the Portlock place for our family reunion. The location was great: quiet, away from the crowds, right on the beach, and plenty of room for everyone. The property manager was very helpful and took care of all of the minor problems we had very promptly.

  Spectacular house in a great location. It was near perfect for everything we needed and indeed no one really wanted to leave the house. Wonderful kitchen for making group meals. You'll never work out all the light switches but I guess it's nice to have options. It says 6 bedrooms but beware that two are very small. One of these is prone to getting hot (with a very noisy AC as an option) and the other has no blinds. If that's not a problem I'm certain you'll enjoy your stay. Especially if you have a piano player in your group.

  House was great!! Only problem is the security deposit for Canadians. I ended up taking a $350 or more hit on the $5,000usd due to exchange rate and its taken over a week to get back the $5,000. I have rented a lot of vacation rentals and never had to actually give cash. Usually, you just give a credit card number for deposit. This will need to be changed before I rent again.

  I jsut wanted to say this is a very elegant property with nice views. The neighborhood is quiet and the property manager was very nice and helpful. Would definitely come back. Hopefully soon.
